Obituary for Garland Whitfield Shadbolt
Passed peacefully into the loving arms of his Saviour on Monday, November 28, 2022, in his 98th year. Predeceased by his wife Jean, and daughter Debra. Survived by sons Philip (Wen Chen) and Chris (Heather), his grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew (Jenna), Hannah (Michael), and Leah, and great-grandchildren Bennett, Francesca, and Penelope. Survived by his brother Reginald (Audrey), and sister-in-law Marjorie. Predeceased by siblings Jessie, Irene, Bessie, and Walter. Psalm 119:33 summarizes Garland’s life “Teach me, oh Lord, the way of your statutes; and I will keep it to the end." Friends are invited to visit at Arlington Woods Free Methodist Church, 225 McClellan Road, on Saturday, December 3rd from 10am -11am followed by a Celebration of Life at 11am. Donations in honour of Garland may be made to Wesley Acres, a place of rest and spiritual renewal for him.
