Obituary for Gary John Craig
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Craig on Tuesday, March 22nd. He was predeceased by his parents Bob and Joan (Snider) Craig. Gary leaves behind his cherished wife Pauline (Chiasson), sons Adam and Matthew, brother David (Carissa), and nieces Lindsay and Jennifer Craig.
He also leaves his beloved family in Halifax: Father-in-law Ed Chiasson (the late Betty), sisters and brothers in law Cathy and Brian McLeod, Dianne Chiasson and Roy Hopkins, Marc and Lorraine Chiasson, Lori Chiasson, nieces and nephews Paul McLeod, Jennifer Slivecka (Ivan) and grand-niece Vera, Colin McLeod, Ross Chiasson, Gwen Chiasson and Brett Chiasson. He also will be missed by his Aunt, Ruth Woodburn (the late Ralph), and his cousins, Cheryl Woodburn (the late Mark) & Julie Woodburn Blanton (the late Michael) and their extended families in North Carolina.
He found great joy in the company of many treasured friends, from his childhood in Ottawa and through an accomplished career as a civil engineer.
He will forever be loved and missed.
Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Saturday, April 2, from 1 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3 p.m., followed by a reception.
