Peacefully at the Montfort Hospital on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the age of 71. Dearly beloved husband of Jane Webster. Dear brother of Emmett Hicks and Barbara Hicks. Will be remembered by his niece Jody Hicks and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Emmett and Pearl (née Haynes). Gerald touched many lives with his generosity and his willingness to always help others. Friends are invited to a Celebration of his life at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
