Condolence: Hello to Gertrude’s family. I was sorry to see the news of Gertrude’s passing. My aunt (Clara Margaret) was married to Gertrude’s brother and I had tried to stay in touch with her over the years as she was such a bright and happy person. I had reached out during COVID to see how she was doing and had my last chat with her. I always enjoyed our chats and tried to connect her with my aunt who is in St pats (LTC) by phone when possible. She spoke often of her great nieces and nephew. I believe it was Natalie I met at my 9 year old Birthday party when I first came to Ottawa and Gertrude has her niece come to my party because I didn’t know anyone in the city :-) God bless Gertrude. My aunt and I have made donations to Bruyere in her name. All the best.
