Obituary for Gordon Richard Hodges
Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the age of 67. Dear son of the late Viola (nee Holmes) and the late Fred Hodges.
Loving father of Jennifer Hodges (Aaron Monty), Gordon Hodges and Jonathan Hodges.Cherished grandfather of Tama Hodges and 2 other grandchildren.
Dear brother of the late Walter (Marlene), Dorothy (John McMillan), Jim, Linda (Michael Sills), Harry, the late Carl (Kim), the late David (the late Karen) and Marion Clark.
Gordon will be dearly missed by his companion Laura Boisclair, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment Dales Cemetery, Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff of the 6th floor at the Ottawa General Hospital for their loving care and compassion.
