It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Graciela Steinberg on March 7, 2021. She is survived by her cherished husband of 46 years, Buddy; her daughter, Jessica; her son, David and his wife Sarah; her beloved grand-daughters, Lauren, Lucy, and Emma; her brother, Kico; sister Susana and her husband Steve; her nephews, Robert and his wife Jill, Jonathan and his wife Johanie, Michael, and Daniel; her niece, Kimberly; mother-in-law, Tsyvia; sister-in-laws, Sharon and Ruth; half-brother David and half-sister Daniella. She was the daughter of the late Lucy Marx and Gunther Marx and the daughter-in-law of the late Abe Steinberg. Graciela had countless friends who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, Graciela has requested that any donations in her honor be made to cancer research at the Ottawa Hospital, the Ottawa Humane Society, or the Fung Loy Kok Institute of Taoism. A private funeral will take place on Monday March 8. A private shiva will follow.
