Harold Theodore Strebe, in his 68^th year, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2023, at Smiths Falls District Hospital. Loving father of Angela of Rockland and Derek (Shannon) of Kemptville. Special Papa to Mikayla, Tamara, Avery, Emmitt and Logan. Dear son of the late Theodore and Earla Strebe. Dear brother of Glen, Gerry, Ken, Bert, and Janet. Predeceased by sister Susan, and brothers Keith and Stanley. Extended family to the Nitschke family.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Harold enjoyed a career of driving trucks and visiting new places. In his retirement he could be found enjoying the company of friends and family, building friendships everywhere he went. He loved curling up on the couch, spending time with his grandchildren. Though he was a man of few words, he enjoyed making people laugh with his unique sense of humour and wit. As per his wishes, a celebration of life will take place at a later date with all who knew and loved Harold. A special thank you to the staff at Hilltop Manor for the love and wonderful care given to Harold.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada are gratefully accepted.
