Helen Margaret (Margot) Hall

1922-2022

Passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022 in Ottawa at age 99. Predeceased by her parents Helen R. Hall and Robert Bainbridge Hall and by her brother Peter B. Hall. She will be dearly missed by her sister Barbara Hall Common, her nieces and nephews (Roslyn, Carol, Stuart, Bob, Andrew, Robert, Mary, Joanne, Barbara) and spouses, and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews and friends. Born in Montreal and obtaining her BA from McGill, Margot made her life in Ottawa, first in human resources then establishing Miss Hall’s Personnel Service in 1972 for which she received an award for Ethics in Business, retiring in 1997. She loved her family, her friends, her business, life in Ottawa, and walking, skiing and golfing in the Gatineau. She travelled extensively in Canada from coast to coast to coast. For their kind and devoted care, we are grateful to the staff at The Edinburgh Residence, to the team from Staffrelief and caregiver Margaret. Due to current restrictions, services will be held at a later date.  Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
