MacDonald, James Allan “Al”
Passed away peacefully on November 23, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Patricia, and brother to Pat and John. He is survived by his children Stephen (Denise), Cathy, Randy (Helen) and Penny. Cherished grandfather to Christopher (Kim), Beth (Eric), Brad (Sam), and Emily (Tyler) and great grandfather to Chloe, Jacob and Daniel.
The family would like to thank the staff at Extendicare Medex for the care that Al received. And would also like to thank Al's best friend Don for continuing to be there for him over the years.
Al retired at the age of 54 after a long career with Air Canada. He enjoyed travelling, especially to Florida every winter and he loved to play golf and spend time with his family. We will miss him dearly.
Family and friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond Rd.) Ottawa on Thursday November 28, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, where a Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 pm. A Reception will follow.
