Obituary for Brian O'Malley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian. Predeceased by his parents James O’Malley and Germaine Boissinot and his sister Nancy O’Brien. Survived by his beloved wife Joan (Donovan), his children Kelly (Denis) Therien, James (Kathy) O’Malley, and his grandsons Daniel, Michael and Alex Therien. Brother of D’Arcy (Erna) O’Malley, Connie (Bobby) Brown, Pat (Terry) Edmonds, Brother-in-law to Maureen (Jack-deceased) Crawford, Ray (Lisette) Donovan, Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He was one of the original mellowed out luncheon explorers (MOLES) who met every Thursday for lunch. He was known for his personalized birthday cards and paintings, which hang in his home and in homes of many family and friends to be enjoyed and treasured. Brian was a kind and gentle person who will be dearly missed by all.
We would like to give special thanks to his doctor, Dr. Karen Ho, Marlene, PA, the nurses at the General Hospital including Emily, Tatjana, Candace, and Chelsea who gave Brian the compassionate care he deserved.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dominion Command Poppy Fund.
