Peacefully at the Forest Valley Terrace with his wife by his side on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the age of 85. Husband of Patricia Shurie (nee Taylor). Father of Taylor Shurie (Kevin Crothers) and Erin Hyndman (Scott Hyndman). Beloved grandfather of Abby and Charlotte. A Private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
