MacIntosh, Joan (nee Thoms) July 12, 1936 – June 23, 2020
On June 23, 2020, Joan passed away peacefully at home after a long decline from numerous ailments at the age of 83. Loving wife to Don for 54 years. She will be missed by her cherished sister, Faye Hanes and special friend Stanley. She is survived by her nephew, Scott Hanes. Joan was predeceased by her parents Pearl and Henry Thoms. A private service will be held at the Winchester Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry. Thank you to all the PSW’s and nurses who provided care during her final couple of months. Their dedication is admirable, especially during a pandemic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dundas County Hospice or Cornwall Hospice.
