Hi Joan. I was just mentioning last week that John's anniversary was coming up and I thought about you first because it is still hard for me to think that he is gone and I had not seen him in such a long time but you always think they are there and accessible until they are not.

There are a lot of stories I could tell about funny times I shared with John at work but most of them would mean nothing to anyone else but the 2 of us. The only thing that comes to mind that could mean something to you  is when he had a ring made for you by Mark Rozanski and he asked me what I thought of the design since he knew how much I loved jewelry. It touched me that he thought I could give him advice on such an important gift for the love of his life. The ring  (the cushioned cut stone surrounded with diamonds) was elegant and beautiful and any woman would have been happy to receive it from her husband. Although John was reknowed for having many female friends and most women who knew him adored him, we all knew there was only one woman that was his soulmate, and that was YOU.

I sincerely hope that all your memories of John can comfort you and help you during the sad times. I know John would want you to be happy and beautiful as I remember you.
