Passed away at the Queensway Carleton Hospital Ottawa on Wednesday March 2, 2022, in his 81st year. Beloved husband and best friend of May Whitney for 50 years. Dear son of the late Jean Morrison and son-in-law of the late Doris Jenkins. Survived by his goddaughter, Heather Rempel of Edmonton, Alberta, and cousin, Peter (Linda) Drysdale of Australia. John was a faithful member of the Orange Young Britons and the Loyal Orange Lodge and of Scouts Canada for over 50 years. Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry 315 McLeod Street on Tuesday March 8 after 11 am, Orange Lodge Service will be help in the room at 1pm, and the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2pm. Interment of urn at Merivale Public Cemetery. Inmemoriam donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
