Unexpectedly in Ottawa, Ontario on June 30, 2020. Ms. Judy Ann McCarten was born on January 2, 1949 to the late Lawrence Murray McCarten and Heloise (Leslie) McCarten. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her son, Sean Gilbert (Anna Boyd) and granddaughter Ella Gilbert, of Whistler, British Columbia, and her daughter Danielle Gilbert (Shawn Fraser) of Ottawa, Ontario. Judy loved reading, especially mysteries, gardening, and cats. By the family’s request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
