Kathryn often enjoyed dropping by the doorway of my Mom’s room at the Bruyere. She would make pleasant comments about the plants on my Mom’s windowsill. It’s difficult watching a parent in a state of decline. Although she could not express it, I’m sure your Mom appreciated your visits and care. Let’s hope that the current pandemic will result in improvements being made to the long term care residences.
