I met Lois for the first time the day that Lloyd died and we ve been very very good friends since. For decades, we saw everyday . We traveled by bus up to Halifax, groceries shopping, dr appointment, we shopped something that Lois adored and during Christmas time it was a big challenge. My children also will miss her, she was a part of our family . Every Halloween, we stopped at her house , babysit my children , invited for my children birthdays, baby showers , during Christmas times .... lois was very attentive to people that she loved. She was waiting for her brother Dale for lunch once a week and it was very important that she makes him a sandwich that he loves. She talked a lot of her grand children that she love and so proud of them. Unfortunately, Lois has so much pain for too many years that it was sometimes unbearable but she kept going, trying to be in a good spirit, even hiding her pain. Isolation was very difficult for Lois especially if you live alone as many others old ages persons the time of COVID. I will miss to call Lois, hear her voice which was the way that I knew how she felt, how her day was going bad or good. My confort is that I know that she is happy again to be with Lloyd that she missed so much, no more pain and no more worries.
