Loma passed away peacefully in hospital on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the age of 88, with a family member at her side. Loving Wife of the late Maurice “Moe” Amedee Roy. Loving Mother of Deborah “Debbie” Mary Roy Pelletier (Maurice), David Gerald Roy (Monique), Daniel Joseph Roy and Linda Ann Doyon (Normand). Loving Grandmother of Peter (Rachael), Susan “Suzy” (Chris), Cassie (Justin), Kayla (Jacques), Jena (Arjun), Jordan (Jenya), Dustin, Nicole (Devon), Steven. Loving Great Grandmother of Henry, Connor, Clare, Lola, Isabelle. Loving Sister of the late Mary “Rita” Canty Radmore, Bridget “Bride” Noreen Strub, Pearl Margaret O’Connor, Dorothy-Ann Esther O’Connor and Gerald “Gerry” Robert Joseph O’Connor. Loving Daughter of the late Irene Gertrude (nee Hanratty) O’Connor and Stephen Jeremiah Canty O’Connor. She will be fondly remembered by many other friends and relatives. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 10 a.m. until A Celebration of Loma's Life in the Chapel at 11 a.m. For those who wish, a memorial donation may be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
