Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus on July 29, 2022 in his 75th year. Loving father of Carole and Sylvie (daughters Carla and Alexandra). Special grand-papa to Shannen and Maya (Miles), and great grand-papa to Skylar and Scarlett. Born in Abitibi, Québec, Marcel was the son of the late Gaspard and Jeanne-D’arc Bélanger. Friends and family may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Monday August 8, 2022 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. A memorial service will take place in the chapel on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11am and will be followed by a reception.
