Obituary for Marie Renee Brulé (Brown)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Renée Brûle on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the age of 87 years, joining her husband Edouard and their first-born daughter Louise.
Marie will be greatly missed by her loving daughter Carole and son-in-law David, her adored grandson Michael and his wife Christine (“Sweet Christine” as Mom would call her). She also leaves behind her cherished brothers Gary and Robert (Bob) and loving nieces and nephews.
Mom was born in Montreal but her fondest memories were in Wakefield, Quebec where she was raised. This past year, we would visit Wakefield often and Mom would take such joy in pointing out where she lived, went swimming and all the neighbour’s names. She was so happy to relive her childhood!
A special thank you to Lyn for being such a comforting friend to Mom and the family during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the Montfort Hospital for their kindness and tireless dedication.
At Marie’s request there will be no services at this time. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Marie’s memory.
