A lifelong resident of Ottawa, Marjorie passed away peacefully at age 101 with her family by her side at the Rockcliffe Retirement Residence on June 23, 2022. Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Ben Achbar, married for 72 years. Loving mother of Francine (Longboat Key, Florida) and Mark (Vancouver), grandmother to Jessica and Amy.  Dear daughter of the late Annie and Frank Sinclair, a beloved sister to the late Rose Flesher and Ceil Rosman and sister-in-law to Zelda Freedman and Helen Cooper. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Jewish Memorial Gardens, 2692 Bank Street, on Sunday, June 26th at 10 a.m. A special thanks to The Rockcliffe staff for the wonderful care given to Marjorie in recent years. Shiva will be observed at the Rockcliffe Retirement Residence on Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m.The family would appreciate donations be directed to the Jewish Federation of Ottawa.
