It is with great sadness that Jerry and Lily Penso announce the passing of their dearly beloved and “special” son Michael Mark on April 3rd, 2020 at the Elizabeth Bruyère Health Centre, due to kidney failure at the age of 58. He will be greatly missed by his sisters Eileen (Alan Cohen) and Laura (Tommy Gelb) as well as his niece Melissa, nephew Josh and niece Charly. Also by aunts, uncles, and many cousins and friends. Because of the COVID-19 crisis, graveside funeral and shiva will be strictly private. It is hoped that a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Penso family would like to express their sincere thanks to all the medical and professional staff who gave Michael such dedicated and compassionate attention. We would also like to thank all of the outstanding administration and staff at Tamir who went above and beyond to provide Michael with so much special care, love and attention, every step of the way at this trying time.
