In his 86th year, Ted passed away peacefully at the Madonna long-term care facility in Ottawa after contracting COVID-19. Born in Budapest, Hungary, he was the only child of Dr. Miklos and Sybil Galambos. Ted married Mary (Eleanor) Everett in 1960 and they were life partners for 51 years until her death in 2011. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Robert Feutlinske), and his sons Nicholas (Robert Mundie) and Paul. Loving grandfather to Tyler (Courtney) Feutlinske of Ottawa and Connor Feutlinske of Toronto. Ted is also survived by his sister-in-law Marion Everett of Ottawa.

A private family service to celebrate Ted's life will be held at Christ Church Cathedral in Ottawa at a future date. Many thanks to Ted's friends at Madonna Care as well as the staff who made Madonna a welcome second home for the past fourteen years. If friends so wish, they may send a donation to a charity of their choice.
