Passed away peacefully with her beloved husband by her side in their home on February 20th, 2023. Nicole, in her 63rd year, cherished wife and best friend of Jim Lindsay for 15 years. Loving Mother of Laura and Derek Summers from Ottawa, and Julie and Sylvain Lafleche from Ottawa. Loving Step-Mother of Jaimie and Marc Charbonneau of Maitland, and Jason and Brooke Lindsay of Brockville. Proudest Grandmother to Austin, Leanna, Lexis, Addison, Brookelynn, Melina, Miley, Camryn, Noah, Bethany and Penelope. Dear Daughter of the late Maurice and Suzanne Roy. Dear Sister of Gilles and Mary-Joanne Roy of Ottawa and Rejean Roy of Ottawa. Dear Sister-in-Law to Bill Lindsay of Brockville, John Lindsay of Prescott, Fred and Helen Lindsay of Peterborough, Jim and Mary Vail of Prescott, Rick and Diane Hagley of Ottawa, and Marc and Mary Hagley of Ottawa. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was a woman who loved cats, gardening, laughter, bears, and especially her family with all her heart.
Friends and family may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 10am until time of memorial service at 11am, followed by a reception.
