We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of Paul. We have fond memories of great times square dancing with Village Squares and PJ’s as well as playing guitar with Paul at many gatherings. His smile was contagious, his expertise as a caller second to none and his devotion to his art without equal. Our deepest condolences to you at this difficult time; may the memories of all the good times and the love and support of all those he touched help lighten the burden of his loss.
Condolence: We, like so many others were shocked to hear the very sad news of Paul's passing. As I thought back of our memories of him, I couldn't help thinking what a great man he was, a man that was not afraid to learn any thing new. A man of many talents. He lived his life to the fullest. He made every day count. I loved sitting on my deck at the trailer and listening to Paul play music for hours on end. We are honoured to have called him our friend. Rest in Peace Paul, I am sure he and Gavin are together again.
Condolence: Dear Judy and Shawna,
I am so sorry to hear you have lost Paul. The Adams were fine neighbours to the Blakes for many years. The Adams kids were my first baby sitting clients - a few years ago.
I am deeply saddened to hear of Paul’s passing.
He made a great difference in my life of square dancing.
I will always remember his dedication to his teaching, all of his calls, and his singing especially the famous “Hallelujah” with his black hat….I will miss him terribly.....
Dear Judy and Shawna, please know, my thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time!
Condolence: Our deepest sympathies to Judy and Shawna on the passing of Paul. Harvey had the pleasure of teaching Paul and a group of Junior Farmers how to square dance the “traditional way” in the mid fifties. In the later years,Paul would come to our “Old Time Music Fiddling Club” with Madeleine. What a treat when we would see him come in with his guitar. Paul was very friendly and adapted to any group of musicians. No doubt the community will greatly miss him. You will both be in our thoughts and prayers.
