It is with heavy hearts that we share the peaceful passing of Phil on December 26, 2019, age of 89. Phil is dearly remembered by a fleet of family and friends. Loving and devoted husband of the late Violet Louise Withey. Proud father to Rob Berger and Susan Berger (Frank Dinardo). Cherished Grandpa to Kristen Walsh and Jim Walsh (Alexandra Valcov). Great Grandfather to MacKenzie and Olivia Walsh. Dear son of the late Henry Berger and Wilhemina Schimmins. Brother of seven late siblings, and survived by his brothers Aylmer Berger (Cathy) and Milton Berger (Rose). Loving uncle of his many nieces and nephews, and cousin to many. Phil graced our lives with his gentle, unwavering spirit, laughter and infectious smile. He will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the McGarry Memorial Chapel,176 Route 105, Wakefield, QC on Friday, January 3, 2019 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m., followed by a reception.
