With deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Phyllis Storey, on May 25, 2021. She died peacefully at Oak Park Retirement Community in Ottawa. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Robert. She leaves behind her children David Storey (Hong), Susan Storey (Mike Wendt), Margaret Harrington (David) and Kathleen McCormick (Steven), grandchildren Melanie (Nemo), Naomi, Peter, Ben, Liam, Craig, Rebecca and Andrew, and great-grandchild Simon. She was born in Sarnia, Ontario on January 16, 1934, married in 1953, and then moved with her husband to Glasgow, Scotland for four years where she made many happy memories. After a time in Toronto she settled in Ottawa where she lived the rest of her life. She loved her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchild were a source of great joy for her. She will be sorely missed.
