1995-2022
We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Riley on March 31, 2022.
He will be missed and never forgotten by his loving parents Christine Taylor and David Dudley. Cherished brother to Shyla. Dear grandson of David and Joyce Dudley, and the late Peter and Gisele Taylor. Loved by his aunts, uncles, cousins, colleagues, and friends. Also missing him immensely is Archer, his chihuahua extraordinaire.
He was a funny, quirky, quiet, and gentle soul, but in recent years Riley’s energy fought against an inner cloud of mental illness and substance use that he valiantly tried to conquer. He was taken from us far too soon by a tragic accident related to the devastating opioid health crisis that is affecting so many across this country.
Donations to Parents Lifeline of Eastern Ontario, or to the Royal Ottawa Substance Use and Concurrent Disorders Unit are gratefully accepted.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday April 9th 2022 from 2-5 pm at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa.
