Condolences

Condolence From: Greg Wright
Condolence: I was shocked and saddened to see the recent announcement about Ross. My sincerest condolences to his friends and family.

I knew Ross for a handful of years during my time at Solicitor General / Public Safety Canada. He provided sage advice and informed support to our focused efforts to improve information technology and information management throughout the criminal justice system. He was extremely professional, courteous and helpful at all times. A valued ally.

Although we have not been in touch for a number of years, I will always think of him fondly.

Condolence: I and Uttra are very sad and shocked to hear the sudden passing away of our dear friend, Ross. We worked together on a Kiwanis proposal to the time he was leaving for the Hospital for testing. I had no idea that he will never come back.

I will cherish Ross`s leadership, sincerity, passion for good deeds, values , good advice and much more. We worked together on many projects together Precious Minds video, Shaken Baby Syndrome and had a great time.

I will miss Ross for friendship.

Condolence: Sean and I will always cherish the events with Ross and his family. We had lots of fun over the years, and great dinners, cottage times, and enjoying fun with our children. Condolence: I am shocked and deeply saddened to learn that Ross, who has done so much for so many, has left us. Ross was--in every sense--a class act. He had a wonderful heart and a great mind. He had an abiding sense of social justice that found expression in so many ways, in his family, his careers, his country, his communities, and his Kiwanis Club.

Ross and I met when we coordinated, he for the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa and I for CHEO, the development of Canada's first major public education on Shaken Baby Syndrome. Ross' vision, leadership, and energy were essential ingredients of the success of this and his many other projects.

I will miss our friendship and lively conversations. I know countless others will as well.

Condolence: Carol,
I am at a loss for words. I served with Ross in the late 60s early 70s and he was my sponsor into the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa. He exemplified the true gentlemen and leader. Rather than sadness, I shall reflect upon the high points of our relationship.

Condolence: Dear Carol and Family,
I was very sorry to learn of Ross’ passing. I will always remember him coming into the school carrying his black diary and always so proud to speak with me about Kenson and Laura.

Condolence: I was saddened to learn of the passing of my great friend, brother Army Pilot/Armoured Corps Officer, and colleague. We trained together on Army Pilot Course #34 1962/3 and flew together. Ross was a model of kindness and caring and his friends were assured of the greatest foundation of love and friendship. It was an honour and pleasure to share life, training, employment and lasting friendship with him. I will miss him.

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn, at the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.
We will remember them.
