On February 3rd, 2022, Sheila Caluori (nee Doig), of Ottawa, passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital, she was eighty-five. 

Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Joe; children, Michael, and Christopher (Jennifer), and the apple of her eye, her grandson Davis.  Sheila was the daughter of Neil and Elizabeth Doig (nee Leathem) and older sister of Patricia (Shaun), who with Joe, Michael and Christopher were by her side at her time of her passing. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews and by all her friends.

Those who knew Sheila will remember her love of socializing, her passion for painting, her flawless talent for design, and of course her love of wine.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff and nurses of the Hematology Ward of the Ottawa General Hospital. The level of care provided was impeccable and we cannot express our gratitude enough.

At Sheila’s request, no funeral service will be held.  To honour Sheila’s love of nature, the family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, planting a tree in Sheila’s name would be a wonderful tribute to her.      A Living Tribute
