Sophie Isabelle Morin-Lamoureux
January 9, 1983 – May 8, 2022
Passed away peacefully with friends and family by her side at the Civic Hospital on May 8, 2022. Beloved wife of Marc, her husband of 10 years, and best friend of 18 years. Sophie also leaves behind her brother Simon, brother-in-law Burt and sister-in-law Melanie. Dearest daughter-in-law to Ed and Carole, and beloved aunt to Jules and Ben. Daughter of the late Erika Morin and late Marc Morin.
With an incredible ability to touch the lives of everyone she encountered, anyone who ever met Sophie, was a friend of Sophie’s. The family would like to thank the incredible staff of the Civic Campus ICU, as well as the staff of the Trillium Gift of Life Network.
A Celebration of Sophie's life will take place at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 1:30pm. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or Canadian Cancer Society graciously appreciated.
