Condolences

Condolence From: Steve and Anita Northover
Condolence: Dear Sue, Jennifer, Christopher, Daniel and Carolyn,

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Steve's passing. The loss is great and he will be missed. Steve was a very kind man and the backbone of the McPhail family. When they were young, Steve's Christmas plays were always the highlight of the year for Kevin and Joanna. His mentoring and inclusion of Kevin in church activities was appreciated and gave us both great comfort. It is very unfortunate that these difficult times prevent us from mourning with you in person but know that we are with you in spirit. Our deepest sympathy.

Condolence: I'm heartbroken to hear that Steve Sparks passed away. He taught me things in Sunday School including the Ten Commandments. He always accepted me for who I was. He assigned me duties at the church including the lift and usher. He was a very caring person and he will be truly missed.

God will always be with him.

Condolence: Dear Sue, the news of Steve's death was such a shock that it took me several days to believe it was true. I am deeply saddened by the loss of Steve. We always had a conversation during coffee time at OBA meetings and any time I was at McPhail. It was impossible not to like such a nice man! He will be missed. My sincere sympathy to you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary

Condolence: Dear Sparks family I was saddened to read of Steve’s passing. Steve and I spent a few years together as leaders with the 27th Nepean Scout group in the 1990’s when Chris and Daniel were in Beavers and Cubs. I fondly remember Steve as a calm, kind and steadying influence with our group. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.

Condolence From: Wayne Sollows
Condolence: Dear Sue and family. Carol and I will always appreciate the service Steve provided to McPhail as we worked together in the ministry from 2004 - 2012. From youth events, Baptist baseball games and Sunday school stories he was a blessing. Surely the words of his Saviour ring true: "well done, good and faithful servant.". We must believe he has inherited the crown of righteousness promised in God's word. Love and blessings, Rev. Wayne and Carol Sollows, Pastor. McPhail Memorial Baptist Church, 2004-2012
