Obituary for Stuart Gordon Anderson

Peacefully in The Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 90 years of age. Beloved son of the late Archie and Arma (McGlashan) Anderson. Dear brother of Helen Anderson. Fondly remembered by cousins Peter McGlashan of Cantley, QC; Kathleen Anderson of Kelowna, BC; Norman Anderson of Russell, ON; and Allan Anderson of Richmond, ON. Also fondly remembered by the families of predeceased cousins Rev. Murray McGlashan (Jean); Jean Steele (the late Edward); Grant McGlashan (the late Edith); Keith McGlashan (the late Joan); Mary Kettles; Gordon Kettles (the late Lois) of Ramsayville, ON; Allan Kettles (the late Jean); Jean McCauley (the late Harold) of Bramalea, ON; Russ Anderson (June) of Russell, ON; and Ken Anderson (the late Pat). A special thank you to the staff of the Colonel By Retirement Residence for their care and support, and to the staff of Ideal Caregivers 4U for their years of personal care. Due to the current pandemic, a Memorial Service at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, will be postponed until a later date. For those wishing, donations can be made to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, the Alzheimer Society, the Ontario Lung Association, or to a charity of your choice.
