It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Suey-Hing Lam (nee Law) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Glebe Centre Ottawa, at the age of 99. Predeceased by her husband King-Tsang Lam (2005), her children Grace and Robert (Lolita).

Loving mother of Shirley, Debora (Luke), Patrick (Jessica), Gabriel (Estella). Cherished grandmother of Lorrence (Nora), Vincent (Xue-Mei), Joanna (Wai-Man), Jeremy (Joanne), Jackie (Marko), Jonathan (Amanda), David and Sarah.  Proud great-grandmother of Joshua Kwan, Abigail and Hannah Tao, Naia and Luka Kuljis. 

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, Ottawa, on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel  Friday, May 13, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Suey-Hing’s memory may be made to The Glebe Centre, Ottawa. 

By request of the family, masks are mandatory for the visitation and funeral service.
