Obituary for Thelma Irene Levelton (Cosgrove)
Thelma Irene Levelton (nee Cosgrove) passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 6th, 2022 at the Glebe Center in Ottawa. She is predeceased by her husband Clifford, daughter Janice Maureen and grandson Timothy Robert. She is survived by her daughter, Heather Colleen.
Thelma was very kind, loving and hospitable to everyone she met.
She knit amazing sweaters for her family and friends and was an expert baker. And she was known to make the most delicious butterscotch and chocolate nut fudge at Christmas and gave it to everyone she knew including the mailman! She was a great Bowler and won many prizes. She was an avid walker until her early 80's.
The Funeral Service will be held in her honour at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 Mcleod Street (at O'Connor) on Friday July15th at 11:00a.m. Refreshments to follow and interment will be held at Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Nepean, ON at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Mission, 35 Waller Street, Ottawa would be appreciated by the family.
