A devoted father of Cameron and Carter, he would call his sons his best achievements and was so incredibly proud of them and the men they have become.

A passionate drummer, environmentalist, butterfly chronicler and activist, Tim cultivated a diverse circle of friendships for the duration of his life. His career with the Ministry of the Environment spanned 40 years. Achievements included work on the Montreal Protocol and coordinating NGO participation in the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Tim is also past President of Ottawa JazzWorks and played music until the late fall of 2021 with various friends and combos.
A small private funeral will be held on Feb. 5, 2022, from 1-2:30 PM at Hulse Playfair and McGarry at 315 McLeod Street for immediate family only due to COVID restrictions. A separate musical celebration of life will be held in the spring when loved ones and friends can gather more freely.
