Suddenly at home, Vida Elise Florence Edwards Wade (nee Berndt) passed away peacefully at age 90. Vida was born in Ottawa on September 10, 1930 to the late Mary Peever and William Berndt. Vida married Lester Edwards (late) and they had three children; Maureen (late Bernard), Dale (Jean) and Shirley (Robert). Vida met and married Stanley Wade on June 3,1986. They had a wonderful thirty four years together at his cottage and camping in Florida and across Canada. We also renovated the house. We will hold a celebration of her life later in the summer at St. Andrews United Church in Cumberland, Ontario.
