Following a lengthy illness, Walter joined his beloved wife of 65 years, Teresa, on Wednesday, January 16th, 2020, just shy of his 89th birthday. Loving father of Rosemarie (Brian), Susan (Jack), and Patricia (Jeff). "Ito" to Vanessa (Will), Jacqueline, David (Courtney), Julia, Jessica and Kaitlyn. Great-grandfather to Elliott, Damien & Gabriel. He will forever be remembered by his German family, his "adopted" Mexican family and all his Canadian friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Nepean, Ontario, on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
