Condolences

Condolence From: Johanna den Duyf
Condolence: To All the Stapleton Clan: My heart goes out to each and everyone of you in this time. I have fond memories of Pat as a special brother in law and uncle to my children. He was a true soul that was always grounded to the important things in life...family, friends and fun. I hope that you can celebrate his life in the true Newfoundland style. May the bank play on in his memory. Regards. Johanna

Condolence: I was very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I have many fond memories of our days in the Canadian Guards and particularly in the RCAF Central Band in Ottawa. His sense of humour as well as his musical talent will be missed.

Condolence: Very sad about Pat dying suddenly...I enjoyed playing with Pat in Central Air Concert Band and our brass quintet led by his brother Carl....He was down to earth and unassuming, friendly and always ready to help with the music...I will miss him....Roger

Condolence From: Jack Kopstein and Brian Gossip
Condolence: We both are very saddened by the loss of Pat with whom we served in the Central band in Ottawa. Pat was a wonderful
colleague, who was as Brian often remarked was a full member of our "Loyal Staff". Our condolences to the family.
With heartfelt wishes
Jack and Brian

Condolence From: Allan Moscovitch
Condolence: On behalf of the Ottawa Community Concert Band, I want to extend our condolences to Pat's family. Pat was a wonderful tuba player who made an important contribution to our organization. On a person basis, I really enjoyed playing with him in a small ensemble. He was kind and generous with his time, patient and knowledgeable. I learned much from him. He will be missed by all the members of the OCCB.
