Condolences

Condolence From: Sandra Carson
Condolence: So saddened to hear of Ronnie's passing. I have many fond memories of Ronnie being with us in Petawawa when I was a kid. Ronnie would hop on the bus in Ottawa and come for a few days and some times end up staying for a month, especially in the winter months when he wasn't working on the market. Ronnie came to us every Christmas. Our branch of the family was Anglican. Being Catholic Ronnie would do Christmas on Christmas Eve with his Ottawa family and hop on a bus Christmas morning and come to us in Petawawa. He was always very welcome and so happy. Always singing a silly little song and ready to pitch in and help with any chores to be done. The jam sessions were fantastic. Mom on piano, Ronnie on harmonica, me on violin, Heather and Buster on the spoons. Oh the good times! The Sunday afternoon card games with Aunt Marie and Uncle Jerry and Aunt Loretta and all of us Allens are unforgettable. So many fond memories. Ronnie loved my mother, Alice. She was so kind to him and treated him just like one of her kids! Ronnie was a huge part of my childhood. I will miss him dearly. Rest in Peace Ronnie! xoxoxo Sandy
