I met Sonja the day I started work at Barrhaven Vet Clinic in the early 90's. I was so nervous and excited and Sonja was so welcoming, kind and warm. She put me, the clients and their pets at ease every time. Sonja was patient, friendly and exuberant with the most difficult people.

I wish I had pictures still...I remember taking some at a Christmas party at her house.

Her children, Erika and Ainslie were the sweetest, kindest and politest young people I had ever met.  My heart breaks for them having lost this wonderful mother.

I wish Sonja's beautiful spirit the peace and beauty owed to her as a part of the Divine. I will never forget this marvellous lady whom I considered a friend for more than 10 years and always will.
