Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends at the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Frank Stannard. Loving mother of Blair Stannard, Sharon Stannard-Shergold (Reg Shergold) and Valerie Jerabek (Peter). Cherished Grammy to Jennifer, Heather, Katie, Matthew, Kristen, Valentine, Bruce, Alisha, Maggie, Patrick and Emma. Predeceased by her brother Norm Burch (Marion). Bev will be fondly remembered by her extended family and her many friends. Special thanks to all of the staff and volunteers at the Intensive Care Unit for the care and support provided during her extended stay. As per her wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, The MS Society of Canada - Ottawa Chapter or The Ottawa Regional Youth Choir would be sincerely appreciated.
