Agatha Daly nee Holmes, age 98 years, of Wakefield, Quebec on November 1 2018 . Retired farmer. Dear daughter of the late Stephen and Helena Holmes. Beloved wife of the late Frank Daly, and dear mother of Bryan, Frances (Larry Wesley), Elaine (Frank Morris), Sheila (Brian McHugh), Martin (Beth Washer Daly), Michael, Colleen (Peter Drevniok) and Dennis. Predeceased by her infant daughter, Mary Ellen. Loving Grandmother to 26 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren and Great-Grandmother to 28 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Eva (Gabriel Maloney), Richard, Dorothy (Emmanuel McSheffrey), Hannah, Ruggles, and Mary. Survived by her sisters-in-law, Doreen Holmes and Alma Daly and her nieces and nephews. The Daly Family would like to thank the care-givers at the Foyer duBonheur , 4th floor, and especially Julio and Edith, for their compassion and support for our mother.
Family and friends are invited to McGarry Memorial Chapel, 176 Route 105, Wakefield, Quebec on Friday November 9, 2018 from 2-9pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Camillus Roman Catholic Church, 44 Plunkett Road on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11am, Interment to immediately follow in the parish cemetery.
