Condolence: We would like to express our deepest condolences to Linda and Simon’s family. Simon had such a great spirit and he could amuse us with his stories, whether it was about his motorcycle, plants, knives or his paintings. We will miss our good times together. We will remember his kindness and love of all living things and his zest for life. A true friend who will always be in our thoughts. We are thankful to have known him.

Condolence: Dear Linda,

I'm so sad that I could not have been a better friend and support to you and Simon over these last couple of difficult years as he lived with the harsh reality of his cancer. I loved and admired his pragmatic fortitude. I aspire to accept my own end with such peaceful grace and dignity.

Simon is one of the sweetest guys I've ever known, so gentle, honest and generous. I am honoured to have shared even a tiny part of my artist's existence as his co-exhibitor, friend, model and colleague. I am so honoured to feel that a little bit of our lives will live forever in his paintings. I am so proud to have a couple of them to pass on to my sons.

He lives on - in spirit - in his beautiful canvases - and in the few of us whose hearts he touched forever.

My heart goes out to you Linda.

Love, Lynette

Condolence: Dear Linda,
I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Simon's passing. He was a very special person and a remarkable artist. I have wonderful memories of our times together when we were all founding the Russell Artist Group so many years ago. And of course I am reminded constantly of Simon because of his beautiful painting which we bought many years ago.

This is a very sad time for you and the family Linda, but the memories of your wonderful years together will I know comfort you until you meet again.

God Bless

Sincerely
Shirley VanDusen
