Obituary for Milton Ernest “Mel” Lavergne (WWII Veteran)
Peacefully with his family by his side on February 21, 2019 in his 96th year. Beloved and devoted husband of Doris Lavergne for 69 loving years. Cherished father to Barbara (Brian Carlson) and Anne (Bruce Stalkie). Proud and loving Poppa to Erin (Dave), Shannon (Kenny), Amanda (John), Kirk (Elizabeth), and Trevor. Great-Poppa to Dawson, Sawyer, Madison, Carson, Ryker and Hailey. He will be sadly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
Friends are invited to the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O’Connor) on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11am until a service in the chapel at 1pm. Reception to follow.
