Condolence: I knew Ivan since I was a young boy growing up in Sandy Hill ( Goulburn Avenue ). He was more my sisters age but later in life I encountered him in one of his employment experiences. He was a good guy and I am saddened by this loss. May he Rest in Peace.

Condolence: Dear Anna and Family,

I have good memories of Ivan; he was a genuine professional who helped countless grieving families in his own special way but just as important, he was a wonderful work colleague with a great sense of humour. His favorite expression "I hear you" will stay in my mind forever.

Be well Ivan! .

André Robert
Former Hulse, Playfair & McGarry colleague

Condolence: I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family Silverman for the lost of your beloved father Ivan, sharing this message from the Bible where our God Jehovah promised a resurrection for our dear ones Acts 24:15, and give everlasting life here on the earth in a renewed paradise Psalms 37:11,29, while we wait for these blessings in a near future that the peace of God be with the family.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to Ivan's entire family. Ivan and I went to school together and when we had lunch at both our homes, our mother's made us our favourite sandwiches, cottage cheese on rye bread. The only time I seemed to see Ivan, was when I came back to Ottawa from Toronto, on sad occasions. He will be missed.
