Obituary for
James Edward Shannon
After a very sudden illness, Edward passed away at the age of 75, at the Civic Hospital on Sunday, April 20, 2014, with his wife Jackie and sister Kay by his side. Edward was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Irene Shannon, brothers Andrew, Raymond, Bernard and infant brothers James and Ronald. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law Muriel (Bob), Susan (the late Ronald), Jeanne (Bob), Theresa (the late Ray), Nancy (the late Bernard) and brother-in-law Wally. He will be fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Edward will be remembered for his absolute kindness to everyone he met. Family and friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue (at Richmond Road) on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 12noon until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1pm. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
