Condolence From: Steve Kelly
Condolence: The news is sad, but his life was a good one. Ernie's 'grands' are lucky to have known him. When we were introduced in our softball league, he said he was known as 'road-runner' because he ran the bases so quickly. A stroke had slowed his running but that was all. Ernie was always the one to get involved, to have fun - playing the game, going out for lunch or whatever. Many of us will miss him.

Condolence: Ernie was a friend from the Good Companions Choir which he loved, and always cheered us up with his smile and stories and jokes. I will always remember the funny little poem he told me about "wee Johnny Scobie" in Glasgow. Being Scots myself I appreciated it.
We will miss you Ernie - you were one of a kind. Rest in peace.

Condolence: To suggest that Ernie was one of a kind would have be an understatement. A wonderful soul with a love for life second to none. Thank you for volunteering for the TGC Norman Rockwell Christmas Cards photo shoot and our Christmas Bazaar video.
From one former football player to another it was great chatting about our days on the field!
You will be missed more than you can imagine and remembered always.

Rest in peace...
Ken Evraire

Condolence: May I quote the last words of Crowfoot chief of the Blackfoot tribe? " A little while and Crowfoot will be gone from among you-whither, he can not tell. From nowhere we come, into nowhere we go. What is life? It is as the flash of a firefly in the night. It is a the breath of a buffalo in the winter time. It is as the little shadow that runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. My children, I have spoken."
Rest in Peace Ernie.
