Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the age of 76. Dearly beloved spouse of Marie Dupuis. Dear father of Stephen (Jeana) and Michael. Step-father of Karin Smadella (Dan Dubeau) and Robert Smadella. Cherished grandfather of John and Conor Hollis. Granpa Dave will be missed by Annika, Everett, Sunny and Manny. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
