Beloved husband of Patricia (McGrath), passed away peacefully at home at the age of 72 Friday November 17, 2017. Devoted and loving father of their only child Cheryl Lynn. Son of the late Louis Alfred Daly and Georgette (LeBlanc), dear brother of Louise (Laurent Chretien), James (Karen Ouellette) and the late Joanne (Craig Watts). Raymond will be missed by his nieces & nephews, Daniel (Johanne Morin), Julie (Daniel Miron) and Marc Chretien, Garrett (Amanda) and Shayne (Ellen) Dagenais, Matthew Daly, as well as many relatives, numerous friends and extended family. Raymond worked for many years in the medical profession and he also spent 6 months in Afghanistan with the Canadian Forces. Many thanks to Dr. W. Lominy and the Champlain Palliative Care staff for their excellent care. A Memorial Service will be held at the Good Shepherd Parish, 3092 Innes Road, Blackburn Hamlet, on Thursday November 23-17 at 11:00 AM. Family will gather for condolences from 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Humane Society or the charity of your choice. Internment at a later date.
